Mangalore: CBI Inquiry into Kazi’s Death Demanded

Mangalore, Feb 21: The Muslim Central Committee (MCC) demanded on Saturday February 20 that the case of death of Mangalore Kazi C M Abdulla Musliyar be handed over to the CBI. 

Addressing presspersons, MCC, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district vice-president Kodijal Ibrahim pressed for CBI investigation into Musliyar’s case as he died in suspicious circumstances. Expressing his displeasure over the inquiry being conducted by the Kerala police, Inbrahim said that he strongly suspects that Kazi was murdered by some unidentified miscreants.
 
Ibrahim said that MCC in association with Bunder Central Jumma Masjid will hold a protest meet in front the deputy commissioner’s (DC) office here on Monday February 22 at 10.30 am to demand CBI inquiry into the case of Kazi’s death. A memorandum will be submitted to the DC on the occasion.
