Mangaluru: 65-year-old succumbs to coronavirus, DK death toll rises to 26

Mangaluru, Jul 7: One person succumbed to coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday July 7.

The deceased, aged 65, is a resident of Moodbidri. He passed away at a private hospital.

The man was suffering from heart-related issues and pneumonia. He was admitted to the private hospital on July 3. 

With this, the total number of deaths due to coronavirus in the district has risen to 26.

As per the district bulletin on Monday July 6, 1,276 coronavirus positive cases have been recorded in the district out of which 667 are currently active.
