Mangalore: Series of Stone Pelting Incidents in City - Four Cars Damaged

Mangalore, Feb 23: Five separate incidents of stone pelting by miscreants, including at a college building and four cars parked in compounds of different residences, has made the police apprehensive of disturbance to normal life in the city.
All the incidents were reported late in the evening of Tuesday February 23. A stone thrown at the hostel block of Expert College in Kodialbail damaged the window pane of the building.
A car, owned by Vaseem, parked in the compound adjacent to the college was also damaged by stone pelting.
Another car owned by Shrinivas Pai, was reported damaged near Barke and yet another similar report came in from Bhoj Rao Lane near Alake. In another incident near Matadakani, a car and the window panes of the house were damaged.
All the car owners complained to the police and registered complaints.
Police said that the incidents seem to be aimed at creating tension in the city.
