Mangaluru, Jul 10: Gurudev's PackSmart, the new state-of-the-art-packaging solutions store, a new division of the well-known firm in Karnataka, Gurudev and Gee Dee Group, is now open for the public at Poonam Girija Niketan building, Mannagudde, opposite to Sri Krishna Mutt.

A first of its kind one-stop-shop for all packaging and packing needs including bakery packing, parcel packing and special customised packing. In its 2,600 sq ft design and production floor, high priority is given to 'swadeshi' and eco-friendly packaging products with never seen before designs.

Gurudev stands for quality products, ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 5 lac, which is at much lower rates than any other store in the district. They also have EMI facilities for machinery and loyalty points for regular customers for discounted purchases of new products.

Gurudev and Gee Dee Group was started by Late B Damodar Baliga along with his brothers in 1973. The group has made its mark in various sectors, including media advertising, outdoor advertising and hospitality.

Present directors of the Group, Roshan Baliga and Rajesh Baliga, have the aim to expand their reach online. After starting the first PackSmart store in Dakshina Kannada district, the owners are now planning to expand their business across the state with 30 new stores in the next three years.
