I am stunned to read comments like -Thank God! The group is very much secular.
What does the writer intend to convey? Shame on people who are seeing the religion of these kind of people. A thief is a thief. His religion does not matter. Secular means one which does not have anything to do with religion. Please understand the meaning of the word before you comment.
Strict action should be taken against these thieves.

AFTER READING THE COMMENTS OF SOME PEOPLE, IT LOOKS LIKE THAT FOR EACH AND EVERY INCIDENT WHETHER RELATED OR NOT WE HAVE TO GIVE IT POLITICAL, COMMUNAL, CONVERSION, MINORITY, RELIGIOUS, DALIT, RICH & POOR CONSPIRACY LINKS. A CRIME IS COMMITTED, CULPRITS ARE CAUGHT. THE POLICE HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB. WE HAVE SOME GOOD AND ABLE OFFICIALS IN MANGALORE TRYING TO PUT SOME ORDER IN THE PREVAILING CHAOS OF THE CITY. INSTEAD OF BITCHING AND BICKERING ALL THE TIME LET US SAY "WELL DONE SIR" AND SUPPORT THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.

Someone always used to complaint in this column after BJP came into power always communal clashes. What about this? Here all community people together, is this because of BJP? Now it is clear that some people who makes these communal clashes not an ordinary people because all these people worried about their food & life. So the way of making money these people took is bad but compared to terrorism or conversion or making communal voilence it is good.
My dear Roshan, Mangalore is worried about his religion people, it shows his level & defenetly he is dangerous to our society.

It is bad to see our christian youth involved in such crime. We should findout all such families who do not have proper education and work to uplift them and involve them in constructive activities.

Thank God! The group is very much secular and doesnt belong to one paricular community, or else the issue would have been communualised and politicised by now. Acute shortage of employment opportunities makes these youths to indulge in these types of illegal activities to meet their and their dependants expenses with current inflation at 2 digits. The youths are assets of any economy and youth resources should be guided and utilised for nation building activities.

These youths are inspired by corrupt political system, corrupt bureaucracy and ineffective law enforcing machinery. If we have strong administration which deals with culprits without fear or favour, such incidents can be curtailed. Economic inequality and continued plundering of national wealth by capitalists and widening devide between rich and poor is not a good sign and it calls for revolutions and violence like Maoism and naxalism. Democracy and freedom in India is being used for selfish interests and mass interest is ignored/marginalised. Unless and until rural India is not developed, we cant call India a developed or developing country. If every village of India is developed and self sufficient we can say with pride as a country we have developed.

AMAR,AKBAR,ANTONY Group is quite visible but the venture they entered shameful social evil. If the same group would have tuned for social build up, they could have done wonders to the community.
Very sad to know why few young lads still follow the wrong path for fast money. Is it they have lost hope in life or want fast bucks & easy life.
Police lathi and police hospitality should change them. Wish after this they will change to better human beings.
