Doha, Feb 27: Doha's ace cricket team ‘Pallonji’ has added another feather to its cap by winning the ‘Doha Cricket Club’ tournament, organized by Doha Cricket Club at Ideal Cricket Grounds on Thursday February 26. 

There were eight participating teams grouped as follows: 

Group A

1 ) Hannan
2 ) M Pallonji
3 ) CCTC
4 ) Euro Sport 

Group B

5 ) Sarnadeep
6 ) UCC
7 ) Kerala 11
8 ) Tulukoota 

The final match was played between Pallonji and Sarnadeep with the former winning the toss and electing to field. Sarnadeep were all out for 59 runs and Pallonji won by 9 wickets in 5.3 overs. 

The prize distribution ceremony was held after the final match.  Man of the match for the final was Jerry from Pallonji for his hat-trick.  

The best batsman was Khurram from CCTC with his 82 run and the best bowler was Edric from Pallonji for bagging 8 wickets.  Man of the series was Shailesh from Pallonji for his 85 runs and 2 wickets. 

The main sponsor of the tournament was Chidananda Naik M Pallonji and the co-sponsor was Doha Bank.
