Another Congress MLA in MP took correct decision: Scindia

Bhopal, Jul 18 (IANS): BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh Jyotiraditya Scindia has welcomed Congress MLA Sumitra Devi Kasdekar joining BJP, saying her decision is in the interest of the state.

Congress on Friday suffered another blow in Madhya Pradesh after its MLA Sumitra Devi Kasdekar submitted her resignation to pro-tem Speaker Rameshwar Sharma.

Soon after tendering the resignation, Kasdekar met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at his residence and joined the BJP.

Scindia in a tweet said, "I welcome Congress MLA Sumitra Kasdekar ji from Nepanagar assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh to join the BJP family after leaving the Congress. Correct decision taken by another MLA in the interest of the state."

 

Earlier this year, 22 Congress MLAs had resigned from party membership and joined the BJP, leading to the fall of the Congress government in the state. Congress MLA from Chhatarpur Assembly constituency, Pradyuman Singh Lodhi, recently resigned from the party and joined the BJP.

The effective strength of the Assembly now is 205. The ruling BJP has 107 MLAs, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has two legislators, Samajwadi Party one and four are Independents. By-elections are now scheduled to be held in 26 constituencies soon.

    Having joined the BJP Scindia has also become a shameless man. The peple of India will never forgive him for becoming an ordinary Aaya Ram Gaaya Ram.

    The latest MLA leaving the Congress becoz the people of MP will teach all these betrayers a good lesson in the bye polls and so this MLA leaves either due to financila inducementsor threats of central agencies.

    All in the BJP who have a conscience and love for the country should resign from the BJP to save our country.

    If the nation is filled with betrayers like you, MP/MLAs need not take any decision at all !

    Stop the eyewash of elections. Don't give a chance to a poor man to think of himself like a 'King' for a day, on the election day. Because, what they voted for is not happening. The wishes of the biggest bidder only happens.

    Did Shah give you account of 800 Crores collected in 2019 ? Who were the donors ? How did he spend it ? Did you care to ask ?
