Agarwal takes to social media to wish father on birthday

Bengaluru, Jul 19 (IANS): India's Test opener Mayank Agarwal on Sunday took to popular social media platform Twitter to wish his father on his birthday.

"Happy birthday, Dad! I wish you never stop celebrating all the happy and little moments in your life!" Mayank wrote on Twitter with a photo of himself with his father.

Mayank has been a revelation since breaking on to the scene in the longest format as in 11 Tests so far, the 29-year-old has scored 974 runs at an average of 57.29.

In November 2019, Agarwal hit his second double century in only his eighth Test match, at Indore against Bangladesh, recording his current highest score of 243 in 330 deliveries with eight sixes.

Agarwal has so far played three ODIs for India. He is yet to make his debut in the shortest format for the national team.

Meanwhile, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen posted pictures of him having a fun time with his daughter on a lazy Sunday morning.

"SUNDAY FUNDAY!" Pietersen said on Twitter, with two photos of the ace batter playing with his daughter.
