Kuwait : 'From Darkness to Light' - IMA Begins Awareness Campaign

Kuwait, Mar 3: As a part of its Upcoming Conference “From Darkness to Light”, Indian Muslim Association YOUTHWING is conducting an Associate Making Campaign, with an aim to reach out to thousands of Muslim youth from different parts of Kuwait. In this regard Youth Meets were organized in different zones.

KHAITAN Zone - Youth Meet

First program in this regard was held at Masjid-e-Sanad, Khaitan on Thursday 25th February 2010. Key note speaker of the program Nisar Ahmed delivered his speech on the theme of 'From Darkness to Light'. While speaking on the occasion he shed light on different manifests of darkness which influence human life today. He called upon the youth to come together and join hands with IMA Youth Wing to help fight against these evils.

Keynote address was followed by a presentation by Jafar Sadik, President Youth Wing Khaitan Zone, in which he introduced Indian Muslim Association and its activities in Kuwait, Activities of its Youth Wing and the main aim of Youth Wing's Conference "FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT" , series of events that are planned till the conference and the activities on the Conference day I,e on 23rd April 2010.

The meet began with the recitation of the glorious Quran by Khwaja. Chief Guest for the event was Mohammed Aslam, President, Indian Muslim Association. Also present on the Dias were President IMA Youth Wing Arshad Habib Khan, Khaleelulla Khan Ex -President IMA and Mashoud Shehab who delivered the Concluding Remarks of the event. The meet was convened by Abdul Rasheed.
 
FAHAHEEL Zone – Youth Meet

Fahaheel Zone organized two programs as a part of this campaign, first of which was held at the National Kharafi Camp Shoiba. Speaking on this occasion Waleed Omeri warned the Muslim youth against falling prey to evils such as drugs, alcohol, nudity, pornography etc.  He emphasized the need of quality & moral education and called upon the youth to contribute positively to the society. 

The meet began with the recitation of the glorious Quran by Faheem; the meet was convened by Mujahid. Join hands with IMA Youth Wing to help fight against the evils.

Second program was held at Dar-Ul-Quran Fahaheel. Speaking on this occasion Mujahid Omeri called upon the Muslim youth to guard against the prevalent evils in the society and utilize their time & efforts to acquire & spread knowledge (light).
