Mangalore, Mar 4: St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia, here completed 75 years of its existence on Wednesday March 3. In order to mark this event, a solemn Eucharistic celebration was held.
Fr Valerian D’Souza presided over the holy mass along with many diocesan priests. Fr Valerian D’Souza was felicitated on the completion of 50 years of his priesthood, during the stage programme held after the Holy Mass.
Krista Kateer, Konkani religious drama was staged at the parish grounds by Mandd drama group of Mandd Sobhann, a city-based organization striving to promote Konkani and its distinct culture worldwide.
A large number of parishioners and faithful from neigbouring parishes were present.
