London, Jul 22 (IANS): England women will use Derbyshire's Incora County Ground as their training base ahead of an international summer series.
The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have confirmed that England women will play all of their international fixtures at The Incora County Ground in 2020, with bio-secure training camps taking place beforehand.
Derbyshire's Chief Executive, Ryan Duckett, said: "England's international fixtures are massively important to the whole game at all levels and we are pleased to have been chosen to host these high-profile training camps and matches this summer.
"The Incora County Ground has developed into a prominent venue for international cricket, including hosting the ICC Women's World Cup in 2017 and most recently a bio-secure training camp for the touring Pakistan squad.
"This means that Derbyshire will play all matches away from home once the domestic season starts and this decision has been made with the full support of our coaching and playing staff."
The confirmation, which comes as the touring Pakistan men's squad continue to train at The Incora County Ground, means that the Derbyshire first team squad will play all fixtures away from home this summer.
England women are expected to play bilateral series against South Africa in September after India pulled out of a proposed tri-series.
The men's domestic season begins on August 1, with four-day Bob Willis Trophy fixtures soon to be released.
