Mangalore: Seminar on ‘Ideal Society and Prophet Muhammad's Life’ Held

Mangalore, Mar 6: “The Prophet, saints, and leaders of our society lived according to their preachings and through that they showed us the way to lead our life with better relationships with others”, said Mugalavalli Keshava Dharani, writer and senior officer from RTO, on Friday March 5, at the seminar on ‘Ideal Society and Prophet Muhammad’s Life’ organized by the Jamath-e-Islami Hind at Shanthi Nilaya in Balmatta.















Speaking at the programme as chief guest, he said that saints like Prophet Muhammad, and leaders like Mahatma Gandhi were people with great qualities. “They showed the way to lead a life of truth and non-violence by practicing good values. But, society forgets these good values of great personalities and indulges in violence and anti-social activities”, he added.

“Society has become intolerable everywhere and there is difficulty in finding good relationships in society where relatives have also become enemies” said Dharani adding that following the preachings of the Prophet, saints, and leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, will make us perfect human beings.

B A Mohammad Ali, assistant superintendent of NMPT, said that Prophet Muhammad being a common man, showed the people to behave well and practice good values. 

Mohammad Isak Putur, vice-president of Jamath-e-Islami Hind, presided over the function. Abdul Saleem Uppinangady presented the keynote address and K M Ashraf was also present.
