Bindra & Campriani to host stress management session with Airbnb

New Delhi, Jul 24 (IANS): With Tokyo 2020 being postponed to next year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and Airbnb have announced a five-day summer festival featuring more than 100 Olympian and Paralympian online experiences hosted virtually by some of the world's best athletes.

The festival of Olympian and Paralympian online experiences will kick off with an opening act on July 24, when the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 were originally scheduled to begin, and is an opportunity for athletes to generate income while they share their passion for the Olympic and Paralympic Games and their sport with guests.

The five-day festival has some of the worlds most distinguished athletes from around the globe. As part of the festival, Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra and Italian shooting coach Niccolò Campriani will be hosting an exclusive online experience for the very first time on the Airbnb platform on July 28.

Together, Bindra and Campriani will dive into unique techniques of stress management and coach guests through dealing with their inner thoughts and emotions on the session 'How to sleep the night before the Games'.

Both veterans in the field of shooting, with over 15 years of experience, will explore visualization and techniques like hypnosis, neurofeedback, biofeedback and more to help their audiences manage stress.

During the hour-long session, the duo will also present a series of practical anecdotes that contain transferrable skills which are applicable in and beyond athletics.

The contributions to this experience would help support the Make A Mark project, a personal initiative led by Bindra and Campriani to supports three refugee athletes to reach the minimum qualifying score for Tokyo 2020.
