Sushant Singh Rajput case: PM Modi acknowledges Swamy letter for CBI probe

Mumbai, Jul 26 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has acknowledged a letter by former Cabinet Minister Subramanian Swamy, requesting a CBI enquiry in the suicide case of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

While the Mumbai police is still investigating the case and questioning people, senior BJP leader Swamy had written to the Prime Minister to request him to initiate a CBI investigation.

Now, it has been revealed that PM Modi has acknowledged Subramanian Swamy's letter.

Swamy has re-tweeted tweets sharing a copy of the letter from Prime Minister's office which read: "I have received your letter of July 15, 2020".

In his letter, Swamy had claimed that his sources have revealed that several bigwigs from the film industry are trying to cover up the case.

He wrote: "I learn from my sources in Mumbai that many big names in the Bollywood Film World with links to Dons in Dubai are seeking to ensure a cover-up is carried out by the Police so that voluntary suicide is concluded as the reason for the demise of Mr Rajput."

On June 14, Sushant was found hanging in his Bandra residence by his domestic help, which left everyone shocked. It has been said that he was reportedly battling depression over the past few months and undergoing treatment. Sushant's demise sparked off discussions around a lot of things -- from nepotism to the ruthless favouritism that Bollywood power camps allegedly engage in.

It is true fact that Indian Bollywood can hardly survive without the finance of underworld. Perhaps it is the best way to invest the black money in which artist world to political connection can't be denied.

The BJP leader Swamy hold more secret of RSS than anyone in the party. During the Janata rule, Subramanian Swamy persuaded the then home minister Charan Singh to initiate a fresh inquiry to ‘break the cover-up’ Controversy over the Midnight Death of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. In May, 2015, Swamy had reiterated his demand for another special investigation.

Did Upadhyaya's mysterious death have something to do with the factional tussle within the Jana Sangh? Why did his body go unnoticed for hours at the Mughal Sarai station yard?

Is Subramaiah Swami silence over the mysterious death of Jan Sangh leaders Buried some truth?

I would also appreciate the unbiased media anchors to interview Swamy about his links to Godman Chandra Swami before the assassination of late PM Rajiv Gandhi.

What kind of logic is this, SC has already given it's ruling on this matter why should there be further waste of taxpayers money, only a non taxpayer can demand such thing. CBI probe is a justified demand, why do you guys always color it politically just because it's Modi.

This Govt approves CBI investigations on merit of the case or on personal request? Did Maharastra Govt approved for CBI enquiry? If Modi says no protocols will be observed and tax payers money will be shed on any thing for his personal and friend requests.
