No recurrence of COVID-19 after recovery: Haryana Minister

Chandigarh, Jul 27 (IANS): Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Monday said no recurrence of COVID-19 after recovery was reported in the state.

So far, more than 26,000 people have recovered from the infection.

The Minister urged the people who have recovered from the infection to come forward to donate their plasma so that those who are undergoing treatment for the infection could also recover.

Vij said at least two positive patients could be treated with the plasma donated by a person who has recovered from the infection.

He said only those individuals who continue to remain healthy for at least 14 days after recovering from the infection could donate their plasma.

He said the plasma which is being collected in plasma banks will be made available in government hospitals only as of now. In future, the plasma would be provided in other hospitals if the collection increases.
