Mangaluru: Milagres College organizes national webinar

Mangaluru, Jul 30: The departments of Commerce, Hospitality Science, English and Kannada in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Milagres College, Mangalore hosted a National webinar on July 28 and 29.

Dr Christo Selvan, coordinator PG Diploma Courses, St Joseph’s College, Bengaluru, spoke on 'Resilient Covid 19: Responding to the Impact' and Mr Manoj Louis, Assistant Professor, Government First Grade College, Kavoor, spoke on 'The other side of Covid 19'.

Varghese Johnson, assistant professor at St Joseph’s Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Kerala, spoke on 'Hospitality Professionals- What Next'.

Dr A Joseph Dorairaj, professor of English and dean, School of English and Foreign Languages, Gandhigram Rural Institute-Deemed to be University, Tamil Nadu dealt on the topic 'Developing Writing Skills'.

Dr M S Durga Praveen, professor, department of Translation Studies, Dravidian University, Andhra Pradesh, spoke on “Translation Studies in the Present Scenario”.

The webinar was hosted on Google Meet and was broadcasted live on YouTube platform. There were around 1,500 participants. The talks were very elaborative in their respective fields.
