Due to CoVID-19, people have been limited to celebrating this festival at their residences. At the same time, people have been coming up with innovative and creative ideas to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmastami by capturing beautiful pictures by portraying children as Krishna in his naughty avatar of the Lord playing divine sport (Leela).

Among them, a photo is trending on social media. A girl dressed up as blue complexioned Krishna has won the hearts of many on this Sri Krishna Janmastami.

The girl who has been dressed up as Krishna is none other than well-known actress and model Soujanya Hegde. She is a popular face in Mangaluru as she has acted in historic films like Deyi Baidethi.

This photo was captured by Santhosh from Gold's Photography and assisted by Santhosh Periera, make-up was done by Priya Baliga and assisted by Harshitha. Priya Baliga's effort behind the Krishna picture is clearly visible on account of the 4D make-up art. She took nearly six hours to make this possible.

Priya Baliga's journey started eight years ago, when she joined her friend Anusha Kamath as a freelance Mehendi artist. She also joined Chetna's beauty lounge and became a professional makeup artist and learned advanced hairstyling. Later, she upgraded herself as an airbrush makeup artiste from Bengaluru at Zorain studios, and completed an international hairstyle course by Abhishek Malik from Delhi, in Chennai.

Speaking to daijiworld.com, Soujanya Hegde said, "I have never imagined that the picture of Lord Krishna will be trending in social media. Every year we celebrate Janmastami be it by dressing up my kids or something else, but this year due to the Corona pandemic there is no celebration of Sri Krishna Janmastami I thought of coming up with a new idea to celebrate this festival and came up with this concept of clicking a picture. Credit goes to make-up artiste Priya Baliga, for the beautiful make up which made this possible," she stated.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Priya Baliga said, "Krishna make-up was really a major experiment with Soujanya Hegde, who gave me an idea, but my team Akshatha gave me a clear picture of what extent I can try with Anurag sir's work."

'It was so nice to see photographer Santhosh from Gold’s Photography who gave total attention and evinced intense interest to capture Krishna pictures. It was an unforgettable experience with this team to work, and I am looking forward to more. Credit also goes to Soujanya Hegde who sat for six hours patiently to get this makeup done,” Priya Baliga said.
