Doha : 'The Vocal Touch' - Voice Workshop on April 16

Doha, Mar 18: After organizing the first ever successful ‘Voice Workshop’ in Doha, MCA is set to present, its second edition of the workshop, ‘The Vocal Touch’, a voice workshop for singers, on learning the art of healthy singing, by Joseph (Jossie) Moras from Dubai.

This workshop is being organized in preparation for the much-awaited ‘Gulf Voice of Mangalore (GVOM)’. It is a great opportunity for all the budding and established Konkani singers in Qatar, especially for those looking forward for a great international platform, GVOM. This workshop is limited to only those interested Mangalorean Konkani speaking singers, who reside in Qatar.

The event is proposed to be organized on Friday April 16, at 3.00 pm at the Grand Regency Hotel, Meeting Room, Doha, Qatar.

    I am so surprised to hear about the voice workshops held in the gulf countries in the recent years. I think this concept has yet come to Mangalore although we have numerous singers singing and producing albums. Can someone come forward and organize one such workshop in Mangalore? I think the main reason is that there are no qualified and professional voice teachers in Mangalore?
