Yeddyurappa Leads Cycle Rally Against Price Rise

Bangalore, Mar 19 (PTI): Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Friday paddled a bi-cycle and led his party members in BJP's protest against the price rise.

The cycle rally, which started from Mahatma Gandhi statue and concluded at the Raj Bhavan, was attended by the Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleague K S Eshwarappa.

About 70 BJP leaders, including MPs, MLAs and MLCs, were part of the rally organised in protest against the spiraling prices of essential commodities.

The leaders later submitted a memorandum to Governor H R Bhardwaj.

Mr. Yeddy if you did not know to ride a Cycle, Shobha would have taken you in her Back Seat. Even a small Kid nowadays knows to ride a Cycle. What Government you will run when you cannot even ride a Cycle ? Shame on you.

Yeddi, this in an indication that your fall from the ruling seat is in a very near future. Atleast somebody extended their support to you when you were struggling between the cycles, but the day is not far,when nobody will look at you when you falldown from your seat. WAIT & WATCH.

It is really surprising that the government is showing its unhappiness over the price rise. I thought it was the duty of the people to show their unhappiness. Is it that the state government has absolutely no control over the price rise? While I do not wish to get into the topic of ban on cow slaughter, I forsee that the prices will rise still further due to this ban.

Public were taken for granted by Yeddis& Chaddis.Insulting voters by cycling instead of taking measures to control the prices not augur well for the image of Yeddi and BJP. Increasing vat tax by Yeddi govt, BJP also is responsible for price rise in the state.To divert the attention of other burning issues BJP is indulging in cheap publiciy!!!

They refer to the prices hiked of bi-cycle which are distributed for the poor students.It is one of the scam that BJP leaders made money by buying bi-cycles at Rs.400 and billed at Rs.1400 to the governemnt.

Disgrace to fundamentals and bjp. Bicycle was invented by foreigners. He should have moved in Bail Gaadi even though not bad. Don't move in Helicopters and cars rather daily move in bicycle only. The recently assessed development of bjp for the year 2009-2010 was only 5.5 Percent (news at daijiworld). VERY BAD RECORD.
