Mini Vidhana Soudha costing 10 Crores. School building 1.2 crores, poor children education help is only 70 lacs, roads is 14.20 crores. Just look at our priorities. Like some one else in this platform has mentioned, other places where mini vidhana soudha is built, they are not or rather under utilized.
Why dont we talk of spending crores on poor children's education, medical facilities, insurance policies, farmers benefit, public toilets and drinking water facilities. Better schools. I think these should be our priorities. Shelters will be built for animals and people.
Do we have mistaken priorities? why do we think of buildings which are not really necessary? why can't we use these funds for a better cause? what a national funds waste, in other words, tax payers money wasted.

Has any govt ever thought of doing welfare for public? These kind of places though hardly used are built and then they spend a lot of money on maintenance with all that money coming from taxpayers pocket. What DK and Udupi need is better connectivity to Bangalore which currently is in a pathetic state with road expansion getting delayed by years. Its like another pumpwell of Mangalore which will be inaugurated by Trump.
