Mangaluru: NSS unit of Sacred Heart College celebrates Sadbhavana Diwas

Mangaluru, Aug 20: To commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi, every year the college celebrates the Sadbhavana Day on August 20. On this occasion, the NSS unit of Sacred Heart College organised a virtual programme to the NSS volunteers to share the message of the day.

The principal Dr Joseph N M addressed the participants and explained the background of Sadbhavana Day celebration. He requested the students’ to live in peace, affection and communal harmony and also highlighted the importance of national integration.

In the end, all the participants took the oath of Sadbhavana Day. Professor Janardhanan Nair, NSS Unit I program officer, welcomed the participants and Unit II programme officer Robin Joseph Sera, hosted the programme. The programme was organized through Google Meet.
