Mangalore: Continuing Medical Education programme Held at A J Hospital

Mangalore, Mar 23: The department of Paediatrics, A J Institute of Medical Sciences in association with Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), D K unit conducted a one-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on ‘Management protocols in children’ and Dr M R Shenoy Memorial oration at A J Hospital conference hall, here recently.

Dr Doddegowda, president, IAP, Karnataka branch was the chief guest and A J Shetty, president, Laxmi Memorial Education trust was the guest of honour. Dr Prakash Saldanha, president, IAP, D K branch, Dr Chandrashekar, secretary, IAP, D K branch and Dr Santhosh Soans, vice-president, Central IAP were present during the inauguration.

The inauguration was followed by guest lectures from eminent paediatricians from South India. About 150 delegates from various parts of Karnataka and Kerala attended the scientific programme.
