Udupi: State level online workshop Conducted by Unnathi Career Academy, SKVMSGFGC

Udupi, Aug 25: Unnathi Career Academy, here and Shri Kalavara Shri Varadaraj M Shetty (SKVMSGFGC) & PG Studies jointly on August 17 and 18 organized a state-level online workshop on 'Enhancing Employability Skills'. Hundreds of students from various colleges of the state participated in the said workshop.

Resource person, Jaydeep Amin trained the students on presentation, communication and interview skills. The workshop was conducted to enhance employability skills amongst the students and make them job-ready.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest of the workshop, Prem Prasad Shetty said, “We at Unnathi Career Academy regularly train the students and candidates on the various employability skills which in turn enhances the confidence level in them and make them valuable assets to both the organization and the nation.

The principal of the college, Dr Rajendra S Nayak said, “Students of our college are mostly from a rural background and workshops like this would support these students to know the employer's expectation in interviews and also provide the candidates with an introduction to the corporate environment."

The placement officer of the college, Dr Subramanya moderated the session's IQAC

Co-ordinator, Ganesh Pai M and the Student Welfare Officer were present on the occasion while Santhosh Nayak delivered the vote of thanks.
