Mumbai, Aug 25 (IANS): BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has alleged that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was poisoned before his death.

Swamy tweeted on Tuesday morning alleging that Sushant was poisoned and his autopsy was deliberately delayed so that the poison in his stomach was dissolved by the digestive fluids.

"Now the diabolical mentality of the killers and their reach is being slowly revealed: autopsy was deliberately forcibly delayed so that the poisons in SSR's stomach dissolves beyond recognition by the digestive fluids in the stomach. Time to nail those who are responsible," Swamy tweeted from his verified account.

Throughout Monday, netizens trended a hashtag on Twitter demanding that the CBI, which has now taken over the investigation of the case should grill the doctors at Cooper Hospital who performed Sushant's autopsy.

On Monday evening, Swamy had tweeted suggesting Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty should be subjected to custodial interrogation.

"If Rhea Chakravarty keeps giving evidence which contradicts her conversation with Mahesh Bhatt then CBI will have no alternative but to arrest her and subject her to custodial interrogation to get at the truth," reads Swamy's tweet.

Recently, screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation, which took place on June 8 allegedly between Rhea and Mahesh Bhatt, went viral on social media with netizens alleging that Rhea's "sugar daddy" Mahesh Bhatt encouraged her to break up with Sushant.

    Has subbu don't have faith in CBI inquiry, he wanted CBI to investigate the case and they are doing it fine, let them do the inquiry, CBI is capable of finding the truth, subbu should take care of other pressing issues which that the Indian youths are facing namely job loss. Leave SSR case to the CBI they have not asked him for advice.

    Way to go Swamy. culprits have to be nailed. Also, it has become a way of life to kill people and call it a suicide. Divya Bharathi, Sunanda Pushkar, Sridevi, DK Ravi, VG Siddhartha, Disha Salian, Karan joseph, and the list goes on. The height of fooling the public was Sridevi and VGS. in any case, karma will catch up.

    Dear Shankar, its just sensationalism and conspiracy theories until Bihar elections and then it will vanish in to thin air. same like how it happened with Sunanda Pushkar case.

    i think govt should have handed over this case to Arnab Goswami who is earning his bread and butter through this case these days.

    Is ONE life is more important than millions of lives? Media, politicians, actors all are behind one death ignoring the major issue. They just want to divert the attention of people from the pandemic and their failure.

    Dear Peacelover, How can one compare a pandemic and a possible murder? You can do nothing about the pandemic but wait for the vaccine to come. Not just India, entire world has failed to stop Covid 19. Rather than criticising government(any government) please do something that at least reduces the number of cases. And who is diverting you from Pandemic? All the news channels are updating you about Corona stats all the time. Only one channel is trying to help a victims family to get justice, what’s your problem?

    You want cbi enquire for formers suicide, why don’t you run a campaign? Else you can talk to them and educate them so that no formers comits suicide in the future.
