Mangaluru, Aug 29: In an incident which took place on Saturday August 29 at a building near Rao & Rao Circle on Nellikai road in the city, a labourer was injured after a structure collapsed on him.
The injured has been identified as Shamshuddin (26). He was working on extending a temporary structure of a mobile phone shop at a four-storied building. The structure collapsed trapping Shamshuddin.
He was pulled out to safety by locals who later admitted him to hospital.
Fire-fighting personnel rushed to the spot and took control of the situation. No more injuries were reported.
