Mumbai, Mar 26: Vaman R Kamath, chairman, Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Mutt, Mumbai Samiti was conferred with the Vidyadhiraj Puraskar by Sri  Vidyadhirajteertha Swamiji of Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Mutt ,at a function  held at the Mutt’s  head quarters in Goa recently.

Kamath has been associated with Mutt for over two decades and was rendering yeomen services in various organizations affiliated to Sri Ram Mandir, Wadala. His contribution to the formation of an NGO, Shantikunj Sevashram, and an educational trust Rama Krishna Academy, at Panvel is laudable. He served as an honorary trustee of the GSB Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Samiti, Wadala for several years.

    The work done by vamananna is beyond words. We loved him so much. His son Raghuram should continue the same trend and should take active part in Wadala Math's all functions
