Mangalore: Home Guards from District Deployed for BBMP Election

Mangalore, Mar 27:
250 home guards have been deployed from Dakshina Kannada district to discharge duties during the Bruhath Bangalore Mahangara Palike Election. The members of the team of home guards, backed by regular training, are ready to perform their duties in Bangalore.

 
The team, under the leadership of Prof Dr Nidarsh D Hegde, commandant of home guards and civil defence, has been deployed for election duty. The home guards will serve to maintain law and order situation. They will be in duty for two days i.e., the day of the election, Sunday March 28, and the next day.
 
Last year, for the Loksabha elections, 700 home guards from the district had been deployed for election duties.

    One can see with the TV reports unprecedented money, liquor and cash flowing in elections from every party. We can also observe never seen earlier, goonda gardi. Also watch out the biased behavior of police when dealing with different political parties. Its horrible.
