Doha: Heart Attack Claims Life of Cricketer Santhosh Adappa (42)

Doha, March 28: Doha, March 28: Santhosh Adappa (42), hailing from Bikarnakatte, Mangalore, Karnataka suddenly collapsed at the cricket ground located at West Bay on Friday March 26 afternoon while playing cricket and died due to massive heart attack.
Santhosh died in the field as his wife Chethana, three-year-old son and his mother who was on a visit to Qatar were all watching him playing cricket. Adapa was an active life member of Tulu Koota Qatar (TKQ) and a good cricket player.
The wife of the deceased, child and mother along with his brother-in-law, who arrived from Dubai, left for Mangalore on Saturday March 27. The body of Adappa is expected to reach Mangalore within two or three days after completing all the required formalities, said his close relatives here at Qatar.
Friends and Tulu Koota officials are helping out to clear all the legal formalities at the earliest possible time to release the body of the deceased.
Tulu Koota president Ravi Shetty, KMCA president Saquib Raza Khan, MCC president Alwyn D’ Souza, Karnataka Sangha president Arun Kumar, ICBF general secretary Divakar Poojary and ICC One Toastmaster president Syed Abdul Hye have expressed their condolences to the bereaved family and expressed their shock and grief on the sudden demise of Adappa.
The Mangalorean community at Qatar is in a total shock and stunned by losing two community members within a week due to heart attack. It may be recalled here that ATS employee, Mahesh Kumar hailing from Talapady, Mangalore collapsed at the worksite on March 20 and died due to massive heart attack.
