Kingfisher to Launch Dubai—Mumbai Flights from Apr 24

Dubai, Mar 28: Kingfisher Airlines will begin operating daily flights on the Dubai- Mumbai route as well as the Dubai-Delhi routes from Saturday April 24, said a press release from the airlines’ office in the city.

It is learnt that apart from these two new destinations, Kingfisher Airlines will also have seven other new destinations within the next 30 days. On Sunday March 28, it flagged off the new daily non-stop flight on the Delhi-London route.

The Dubai-Mumbai flight will take off from Dubai Airport at 11.15 pm local time and arrive in Mumbai at 3.45 am. The return flight from Mumbai will be at 8.30 pm local time and arrive in Dubai at 10.00 pm.

The Dubai-Delhi flight will take off at 10.40 pm daily and the arrival time in Delhi is 3.50 am. It will return from Delhi at 7.25 pm and arrive at Dubai at 9.25 pm.

    Last week we booked tickets for Mumbai Dubai direct flight and found to our surprise today that the flight is cancelled and Mumbai to Dubai it is either via Delhi or Bangalore. Mumbai is major sector we should have direct flights. This is disappointing. Hoping this is reinstated.

    KF should start operating direct flights to the Middle East destinations, as there are lot of people waiting for it, also it will be more convenient travelling for all working there. Now that the International terminal is opening soon it is a best time for KF to grab the business from this sector.

    After all AI express is our proud national carrier.This is the 1st airline to start operation from mangalore,and we benifited a lot & saves time and money.While giving statements you have to think a lot and behave like a good citizen of India.

    Since everyone is expressing their desire to suit their benefit, I will also want to have a direct Doha-Pune flight. There are lot of us have to fly via Mumbai and then take express-way or take another flight to Pune from Mumbai. There are lot of people from Pune, Lonavla, Sholapur, etc working in Qatar. At least if it is twice a week also it will help. People can adjust their travel dates to ensure the flight is fully booked making it commercially viable.

    It is good to know that you are going to connect new destination to your existing routes. IF there is chance for DOHA- Mangalore - DOHA OR DOHA -BANGALORE- MANGALORE -DOHA in near future. If you are going to implement pls start its departure late in the evening from Mangalore and midnight from DOHA.

    Mumbai have enough connections - people don't fly for giving business to a particular airline but anticipate convenient timings and connections. At the same time, airlines do not do charity but grab a sector that makes good profits. How come Mallya did not target at DXB-IXE ? Do something Kingfisher - people are tired of AIE domination.
