First goal is to do well in my club: Fabian Orellana

Madrid, Sep 4 (IANS): Fabian Orellana has been presented as a new player for R. Valladolid CF, La Liga has said.

The player has signed a contract until 2022. The Chilean attacker already passed the medical tests with the club some months ago, when his signing was announced, right after La Liga 2019/20 had ended and he had completed his period at SD Eibar and coming free of charge as he ended his contract.

The now-Pucela player has played at SD Eibar the last three seasons and he has been one of the main men at the Basque side, playing in a total of 79 La Liga games, scoring 14 goals (8 of which this last season) and giving the same number of assists.

"My first goal is to do it well in my club, if they call me up for the national team, I will always go happily. Whether I am called up or not I am a supporter of the national team. I finished a great season at Eibar and I hope to repeat it in here," he said in quotes shared by La Liga.

"I feel good physically, I have been training for that during the whole pre-season and we will see how we are during the tournament, but I feel really good so far physically," he added.
