Beltangady: Sacred Heart College Madanthyar welcomes undergraduate freshers in induction programme


Beltangady, Sep 5: Sacred Heart College Madanthyar organized a unique virtual induction programme, an online welcome ceremony event for the newly joined undergraduate students.

Nelson Monis, faculty in the PG department of Commerce anchored the session and explained the motto, vision, mission and key features of the institution. He also briefed about the courses and introduced the teaching and administrative faculties of the institution to the participants.

The correspondent of Sacred Heart Institutions, Fr Basil Vas, wished the students for the new academic year and blessed all the staff and students.

Principal, Dr Joseph N M, in his presidential remarks, stressed upon the speciality of Sacred Heart College and indicated the student's responsibility towards their education and educational institution. He also requested them to take an active part in the activities conducted by the various departments during different occasions and to be attentive to the online classes.

The programme hosted through the Google meet platform and the students of the first year degree actively participated. Professor Vincent D'Souza welcomed the students and the staff. Robin Joseph Sera proposed the vote of thanks.

    The welcoming program which was held by sacred heart college in the Google platform was one of the way that student can easily participate and learn classes from online...This also give me a interest that to study hard in this padamic and wait for the college to begin. This also shows that college also showing interest towards student growth .Thank you .
