Nice to hear this good news but this joy will be shortlived if the present train is not extended until udupi or honnovar or karwar. Then in future some other keralite lobby will bring pressure and divert the train to some remote part of kerela. We mangaloreans, kannadigas,Konkani people should ensure that this train runs within our coastline. Some body should take this seriously. We should learn from the istakes of yeswantpur-kannur train extension which happened last year.

I Would be happy if someone takes this notes seriously.

They make lot of promises like superfast train to Mumbai CST (Mumbai - Karwar extention) but did not materialize. I can't believe in empty promises. What guarantee is there this won't be extended to Kannur even if there is a daily train?
