K Satyanarayan to be Bestowed Kadri Shamanna Journalism award

Bangalore, Apr 1: Senior journalist K Satyanarayan has been nominated for the Kadri Shamanna Journalism award for the year 2010. 

The award comprises a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and citation. The award- giving ceremony will be held here on June 9 to mark the birth anniversary of Kadri Shamanna, said AS Achyuthan, secretary, Kadri Shamanna Memorial Trust. 

The selection committee consisted of eminent journalists like S V Jayasheela Rao, M K Bhaskar Rao, H R Shreesha and S Achyythan.
