Mangalore: Catholic Sabha, Kulshekar Elects Office- Bearers

Mangalore, Apr 2: The election for the new office-bearers of Catholic Sabha, Kulshekar unit was held at Kulshekar Church auditorium here on Thursday April 1.

Speaking on the occasion, zonal president and electoral officer Tony Pinto said that the Catholic Sabha is the strongest organization which has strived hard in economic, educational and political fields.  Henry D’Souza presided over the programme.

Newly-appointed president Mariette Pinto gave a call to people to extend their complete support in carrying out the new responsibility. Church maintenance committee vice-president Victor Vas welcomed the gathering. Leo Mascarenhas gave the annual report of previous year. Sushil Noronha proposed the vote of thanks.  Church maintenance committee secretary George D’Souza was present. 

The newly appointed office-bearers for the year 2010-2011 are as follows:

Spiritual leader: Fr Valerian Pinto

President: Mariette Pinto

Vice-president: Bonaventure Aranha

Secretary: Pauline D’Souza

Vice-secretary: Henry D’Souza

Treasurer: Leo Mascarenhas

Zonal representative: Celestine Crasta

Information bulletin representative: Stany Pinto
 
Social awareness convenor: Albert Pinto

Political awareness convenor: Sushil Noronha
