Mangaluru: CFAL’s Mayur, Dheeraj bag state ranks in KCET

Mangaluru, Sep 11: Students of CFAL have made the centre proud yet again as they cleared the Karnataka CET exams held in July, 2020. Mayur S Chittaragi is the topper with 8th rank in Agriculture and 54th rank in Engineering. He is followed by Dheeraj, Mohan and Durga Supriya who have secured Ranks 30, 87 and 98 respectively in Engineering.

Apart from these students, 15 students have scored ranks below 1,000 in Engineering. The students who have cleared KCET now advance to the counselling process.

This year, a total of 1,84,368 students appeared for the KCET examination. The exam was conducted abiding the guidelines issued by the high court. Social distancing, masks, use of sanitisers, and thermal screening were made mandatory at the exam centres. As many as 1,53,470 candidates were declared eligible for engineering (secured rank). A total of 1,57,627 candidates have secured ranks for Agriculture. As many as 1,29,666 have secured ranks for Veterinary, 1,29,611 for Yoga and Naturopathy, and 1,55,552 candidates have been declared eligible for B-Pharma and D-Pharma.
