Kundapur, Apr 3: A student of Kandlur Highschool near here died on Friday April 2 afternoon, while swimming in a rivulet. The boy, Abrar (13), son of Noor Mohammed, Kazi of Kandlur, was an eighth standard student of the said highschool.
Abrar had gone to swim in Kubja rivulet in Saukoor along with his friends, as Friday happened to be a school holiday. While swimming, because of strong current, he was swept away. His friends could not save him.
A case of unnatural death was registered in this respect, in the local police station.
