Bengaluru: Single window website for benefit of entrepreneurs - Minister Jagadish Shettar

Bengaluru, Sep 13: Large and medium scale industries minister Jagadish Shettar said that the government is going to start a single-window website for the benefit of industrialists soon.

Shettar was speaking at the Karnataka Chapter of foreign investors forum programme that took place in a private hotel in the city on Saturday.

Shettar further said, "Government is forming various policies in order to facilitate the establishment of industries through single window project. There is an industrial-friendly environment in the state. Many countries, including Japan, have come forward to invest in Karnataka.

"Government has plans of creating employment for 25 lac people in the period of 2020-25 in the industrial sector and preparations are on in this direction," Shettar added.

Representatives of many countries including Japan, Israel and Namibia took part in the programme.

Krishna Kumar, chairman of foreign investment forum, Hi Mauro Katsumasa, deputy council general of Japan in Karnataka, Dr Asif Iqbal and others were present.
