Puttur: Software Engineer Dies in Road Accident

Puttur, Apr 5: A person died on Sunday April 4, in an accident that occurred at Peramogru village near here. A car moving towards Bangalore from Mangalore, and a Tavera vehicle, coming from the opposite direction, were involved in a head-on collision in the accident.

Mohammed Imtiyaz (27), a software engineer working in Bangalore, and a resident of Pendeshwar in Mangalore, who was in the car, lost his life in the accident. Wife of Imtiaz, Jenabi Rose, suffered serious injuries. She is being treated in a hospital in Mangalore. Mother-in-law, brother-in-law and cousin of the deceased were travelling together in the ill-fated car. 

Puttur town police station personnel are investigating the case.
