Mangalore: Konkani Academy Invites Troupes for Konkani Drama Festival

Mangalore, Apr 6: Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy will be organizing the ‘Konkani Natakotsav (drama festival)’, at the Town Hall here from Monday May 3 to Thursday May 6. It will be held in association with Kumble Srinivas Bhat Foundation, with a view to promote Konkani plays under the Academy’s special project.
Drama troupes of the children as well as the others can take part in the Konkani Natakotsav, which is set to commence on Monday May 3 evening and conclude on Thursday May 6 night.
The participants will be paid travelling allowance and other benefits including accommodation and hospitality as per the rules of the Academy.
