London, Apr 14 (IANS): Women are generally happier than men, revealed a study.
According to the study, most of the women enjoy where they live, their quality of life and their balance between work and leisure, reports express.co.uk.
More than a third of women ranked their happiness as eight out of 10 or higher.
The study also found that the happiest women were those who were married or retired.
Natalie Cowen of First Direct bank, which commissioned the poll of 4,423 adults, said: "It is evident that gender difference plays a huge part in how satisfied we are. Some of today's little life pleasures are helping women love life at the moment, such as watching their favourite television show, music and their pets."
The only area where women were less satisfied than men was with their love life.
Also, the biggest worrying factor for women was their weight and most of them said that this was the one area of their life they would most like to change.
