Mangaluru: Aloka Foundation distributes ration kits to two families stranded amid lockdown

Mangaluru, Oct 2: On the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi Aloka Foundation distributed ration kits on Friday, October 2, to the two families from Vijayapura who were stranded at Paduperara since lockdown.

The ration kits included rice 15 kg, toor daal 2 kg, wheat flour 10 kg, tea powder 1 kg, different pulses 3 kg, sugar 2 kg, jaggery 2 kg, beaten rice 1 kg, onion, potato, garlic, biscuits, masala powder, soaps, toothpaste, oil packets.

Aloka Foundation also distributed face mask to the family.



Aloka Foundation president Pramod Kumar, along with its member Mishal, Spoorthi, Pravesh Bhandary, Nanditha Bhat and Rehab Tonse.

Aloka Foundation was started by team of young people to create an awareness and educate people in various aspects of education and health.

Aloka is a non-profit organization that works towards helping people in need and aims to put best efforts towards all sorts of humanitarian work.
