Mangaluru: Stay on transfer of CCB inspector probing drugs case

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Oct 3: Transfer order of CCB inspector Shivaprakash Naik is kept on hold for now.

Naik had interrogated anchor and actress Anushree in the Sandalwood drug case. He was immediately transferred after the interrogation by the higher officials of CCB. They also nominated Mahesh Prasad, circle inspector of Kaup police station. However, now the transfer of inspector Naik is put on hold.

CCB inspector Naik had arrested dancer Kishore Shetty earlier with respect to the same Sandalwood drugs case. It is said that the MLA had put pressure on the inspector to release Kishore. But Shivaprakash did not budge. That is why Naik was transferred when the investigation of the drugs scandal, the investigation of which was headed by Naik, was at its peak.

Clarifying the matter, police commissioner Vikas Kumar said, "The reason behind the transfer of CCB inspector Naik is entirely different. The rumours that are making rounds now are far from the truth. Many things even we do not know. We have to investigate the reason for transfer as telecast on electronic media. No pressure is exerted on any officer investigating the drug scandal.

"Chain link of this drug case is quite long. We will keep on investigating till we reach the end of the chain. So far six accused are arrested in the drugs scandal. Investigation is going on every day. If we need information we give notice,”he said.

Now you can see the influence of POLITICIANS they are eager to transfer the POLICE by that they interrupting the investigation and discharging the duty of a GOVT servant. Now who is dangerous to this country ? people should decide ! why SHOBHA is mum in this kind of serious cases ! why she is not training the guns on her own people with regard to the TRANSFER of OFFICER !

    People,

I don't know who is the MLA tried to influence Police to release Kishore Shetty....What I know, Kishore Shetty is from Kulai and it belongs to Mangalore North assembly Constituency ....a Dentist is MLA there....

You can connect the dots if you like...

One more interesting information recently reported by Press...when this Inspector summoned Anushree for questioning ....they checked her Mobile phone call records....and found she called 3 powerful political leaders of 3 different parties regarding this....this is before she was interviewed by Police at Surathkal Police Station....

She is modern day Panchali....no doubt Naik was transferred before he could call her again for second interview....

"Chain link of this drug case is quite long. We will keep on investigating till we reach the end of the chain" ....Mr. Vikas Kumar....you can reach the end of the chain without any effort but concentrate on the start of the chain and challenge you can not although it is more important.
