US Publisher Picks Stan Ageira's Short Stories Featured on Daijiworld

New York, Apr 15: It is a matter of great pride for a Mangalorean story writer Stan Ageira, who first began writing in Konkani and then graduated into the art of writing in English, that his popular short stories featured under Daijiworld.com's 'Red Chillies' column are now being published by world renowned publisher, Raider Publishing International, an award-winning publication spread in the US, UK and South Africa that has published bestsellers in six different countries. The publication is currently working with authors in over 70 countries worldwide.
"It is indeed a great moment for me and all my readers for I feel that it is great recognition for my work", said jubiliant Stan Ageira speaking to Daijiworld about his first published work in English. The book titled 'Tea, Coffee, and Cheese Cake' contains 20 short stories that were published on daijiworld.com under 'Red Chillies' column.
A prolific Konkani writer with 18 novels, over 300 short stories and four plays Stan Ageira hails from Mulky, Mangalore. He has tried his hand in Kannda serial too with 'Manegobba Mahadevi' was produced and directed by him was telecast in Bangalore Doordarshan about two decades ago.
He is the recipient of Karnataka Sahitya Academy award twice and Goa Basha Mandal award once. His short stories based on social and economic themes have touched the readers. His stint in English has made him popular author among Daijiworld readers worldwide.
Currently Stan Ageira is the main - coordinator of Konkani Writers in the Emirates 'Daiji Dubai'.
The books will soon hit the popular book stands in Middle East, India, and other parts of Asian countries.
