PM Modi: Trinity of reforms will impact every Indian

New Delhi, Oct 8 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said India has undertaken a trinity of reforms in the education, labour and agriculture and together they will impact almost every Indian.

The Prime Minister was delivering the keynote address at the Annual Invest India Conference organised with a special focus on strengthening business ties between India and Canada.

Inviting Canadian investors, the PM emphasised that India has undertaken structural reforms aiming to improve productivity and prosperity, and is also going through a rapid change in mindset and markets. "India has embarked on a journey of de-regulation and decriminalisation of various offences under the Companies Act. India has risen from 142 to 63 in the World Bank's ranking of ease of doing business ratings in the last five years," said the PM.

He emphasised that reforms in labour laws greatly reduced the number of labour codes, which favours both -- the employee and the employer. The PM said there is an opportunity to grow, as during the Covid-19, there were various kinds of problems. However India has shown resilience and emerged as a land of resolution. He insisted that the FDI regime has been liberalised and a favourable regime created for sovereign wealth and pension funds.

PM Modi said reforms in education will enable foreign universities to come to the country. He added: "We are proactively monetising assets across sectors: airports, railways, highways, power transmission lines."

He added that India is playing the role of pharmacy to the world, as it provided medicines to around 150 countries so far amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. PM said: "India-Canada bilateral ties are driven by our shared democratic values and many common interests."

PM Modi: Trinity of reforms will impact every Indian.

A trinity artisan approach Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime minister of India with a proposal
Artisan: Mr. PM, Can I make a statue of yours in my tribal style?

    PM: Ok, Please go ahead.

Artisan: Will I get any remuneration?

PM: I will give you 100,000 Indian Rupees for it.

Artisan was so happy, he worked hard and made a very beautiful statue of PM.

PM was very happy. As per promise, he paid artisan by writing 10 cheques of INR 10,000 each.

Artisan: You are a busy person, why did you waste time making 10 cheques instead of one?

PM: This will be beneficial to you, me, and country.

Artisan: How that will benefit me?

PM: You can take this cheque and you may get INR 50,000 for each with my signature.

Artisan: Oh! How the country will benefit?

PM: I will auction this statue for more than INR 5,000,000 and the money received will be donated to the Prime Minister relief fund.

Artisan: Ok. But how you are going to be benefitted?

PM: Do you really think a person buying my signed cheque from you going to encash it?

Do not belive what PM Modi says but you need to accept it.

Since 2014 we are only hearing 'Digital, Demonitisation, GST, Make-in-India, Atma Nirbhar, NEP, CAA, NRC, NPR'. Now one more adjective 'Trinity'. Finally everything will lead to 'Bankruptcy' the direction its heading its 'Reality'.

One has to understand the difference between FDI and FII first, before commenting on the sophisticated topic of reforms.
