Udupi, Oct 8: Sandalwood actor Yash resumed shooting for KGF-2 after a break of six months due to corona pandemic. The entire film industry came to a standstill due to lockdown. A post shared by production house Hombale Films on Facebook that Yash has begun shooting for the movie. At present movie shooting is going on at Padukere beach, near Malpe.
For three days beginning from Thursday, October 8 shooting will take place at Padukere beach, Malpe harbour, and Malpe beach in Udupi.
Fans of Yash gathered at Malpe beach to get a glimpse of the Sandalwood star, but the security prevented them from crowding the area.
With government restrictions relaxed, production on all stalled projects started again. The shooting has been set up at the seashore and will be stationed there for the next two days. With all the precautions and health norms being followed, shooting began in full swing.
The production team of KGF-2 restricted media persons to converse with Yash. Following which a brief argument took place between media persons and the staff of the film. The issue resolved after the production in-charge of the film Gurumurthy stepped in.
KGF-2 was scheduled to release in April, but due to the lockdown, it was postponed. The massive success of the first chapter of KGF has created a lot of buzz for the sequel of the movie.
The lead actress Shrinidhi Shetty and other co-stars were present.
