Bengaluru, Oct 11: A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of chief minister B S Yediyurappa on the precautionary measures to be taken against the spread of COVID-19 pandemic during the Dasara festival celebrations in Mysuru.
The world famous Dasara festival celebrations are being held in the completely scaled down manner inside the Mysuru palace premises with a gathering of a maximum of 200 invitees.
Dr C N Manjunath, noted cardiologist and director of the Sri Jayadeva Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, will be the chief guest at this year’s Dasara celebrations. Medical education minister Dr K Sudhakar, chief secretary T M Vijaya Bhaskar, health and family welfare department commissioner and additional chief secretary Jawaid Akhtar, deputy commissioner of Mysuru Rohini Sinduri and tourism department principal secretary T K Anil Kumar participated in the meeting.
