Bahrain: Kannada Sangha Organizes Annual Satyanarayana Pooja

Bahrain, Apr 25: The annual Sree Satyanaryana Pooja was held on Friday April 23 at Kannada Sangha premises at 10.30am.

President Raj Kumar, along with committee members, welcomed everyone with their families and devotees to the cultural hall of the Sangha.

Phaneendra Kumar performed the ‘pooja’ and explained its importance and significance. Shreenivas Bhat narrated the story of the Satyanarayana Pooja.

The ‘Mangala Arti’ took place around noon and during that time senior member K Pandurang Bhat thanked all the members and their families and prayed that the next year’s pooja would be at the Sangha’s new premises.


































Around 400 devotees attended the pooja and enjoyed the ‘Mahaaprasad’ served by the Sangha.

Women and youngsters contributed a lot to the preparation and decoration of the ‘mantapa’.

Kiran Upadhaya, entertainment secretary, thanked all the volunteers for their help in the smooth running of the pooja.
