Mangaluru, Oct 26: Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh and ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company Ltd have jointly introduced Catholic Sabha health insurance scheme keeping in mind the health of all the people without discrimination of caste and religion.
Every family can obtain medical facilities worth Rs 50,000 per year in the hospitals identified by Manipal group under the scheme. The registrations for the scheme are open from November 1 to November 15, 2020.
Only up to Rs 25,000 worth surgeries such as hysterectomy, appendectomy, normal delivery, delivery C section etc were covered under the earlier scheme. The new scheme does not have separate limits. Facilities up to Rs 50,000 can be availed by paying just 10% in the new insurance scheme. Cashless treatment is possible for any in-patient provided he is a member of the insured family. Rs 50,000 compensation will be also paid if a member gets killed in an accident. The scheme also applies to new born children.
"Those who have a Manipal Arogya Suraksha card, those who want to apply for a new card or want to apply for Father Muller concession health card can contact Catholic Sabha units," said Catholic sabha central president Paul Rolfy D’Costa.
