Kundapur: Two arrested for pelting soda bottles on house

Kundapur, Oct 26: In an incident that occurred at around 11 pm on October 25, two miscreants threw soda bottles on a house near the Jamia Masjid in Gangolli of the taluk. The windowpanes of the house were broken due to the act of the hooligans.

Gangolli police have arrested two people in this connection. The arrested accused have been identified as Dhanush (22) and Kirna (23), both residents of Dhakuhitlu, Gangolli. Their accomplice Nikhil is absconding. Police are on the search for him.

Three bike-borne accused had thrown soda bottles on the house of Iftikar Ahmed on Sunday night, October 25. Iftikar, who came out immediately from the house from the sound of soda bottles hitting the windowpanes of his house, identified the accused.

A case in this regard stands registered in the Gangolli police station.

    We strongly condemn the incident and request police to take stern action against the culprits making them to pay houseowners for the loss he incurred. Let us be human being and give respect to others. I will ask the culprits what they gained by this. Most probably they did it on advice from someone else. Police should look for the root cause and finish it for ever. There was peace in Gangolli for some time and anti social elements have tried to disrupt it. No pity should be shown on the culprits and make them run to police statin + court frequently. I express my heartfelt sorry to the house owner who was frightened by these hooligans.

    Senseless behavior jail them at least for six months . And make them to pay the damages.
