Isolated heavy rainfall forecast for south coastal Andhra


Amaravati, Oct 29 (IANS): The Met department has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, due to a cyclonic circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal.

Nellore and Chittoor districts are expected to receive heavy rainfall at isolated places. Thunderstorms with lightning are also expected at isolated places in Prakasam and Nellore districts.

According to the Met department, the cyclonic circulation now lies over north Tamil Nadu and south coastal Andhra Pradesh.

However, there is no rain forecast for the next four days.
